PST Maximum Size

Sunday, December 17th, 2006

The restriction on maximum size of PST file depends upon the Outlook version in which PST file is created.

Outlook 2002 and lower versions imposes a 2 GB file limit for PST files. Outlook 2003 has extended this limit.

If you are MS Outlook user, you might be aware of the .pst file that stores all your Outlook data including your emails, attachments, appointments, etc. These .pst files may get corrupt and make you lose all your Outlook data if their size exceeds the maximum .pst size limit of 2 GB. To access your data stored in such a file you will need to repair the file by using an appropriate .pst repairing software.

Kernel Repair PST is your one stop solution for resolving all the issues that emerge due to .pst file that exceeds the maximum .pst size limit. There may be several other reasons behind the corruption of a .pst file, such as, improper system shutdown, virus or spyware attacks, accidental deletion of system files, or unresponsive operating system. At times, you may also delete important emails accidentally. Unfortunately, prevent corruption that occurs due to .pst files exceeding the pst maximum size limit.
