Saturday, April 3rd, 2010

Inserting or embedding pictures or graphics to the email messages is a part of the job in all the workplaces. While using Outlook, if you compose an email message and try inserting a picture as an embedded file (by pointing a Picture on the Insert menu), the Picture option may not be available. The cause may be that your email format is not set to Hypertext Markup Language (HTML).

In order to insert or embed picture or a graphic to an email message, you need to set the email format to HTML:

1.Go to Tools menu, click the Options sub-menu

2.On the Mail Format tab, in the Send in this message format list, click HTML

3.Select the Send Pictures from the Internet

4.Click Apply and then click OK

To embed a picture or graphic in your email message body, follow the steps given below:

1.Open a new email message and place the cursor on the message body

2.Go to Insert menu, click Picture and then browse to the picture or graphic that you want to insert as an embedded file to the email message

3.Click the file, click Open and then click OK

This way the picture or graphic that you wanted to embed as a file in the body of your email message will get embedded the way you wanted.

At times, MS Outlook responds absurdly. This might be a result of corruption of PST file. To combat corruption issues, switch to Kernel for PST repair too devised especially to repair PST. This repair PST tool will surely restore your data back safely without causing too much of trouble.
